INNOGLY-ECI-WG3-2021: Young Glyco-Scientists on stage

In Memory of Prof. Hans-Joachim Gabius whose work and dedication to the GlycoScience will be of inspiration for the next generation of GlycoScientists.

Date: September 27, 2021 10:00-18:00 CEST

The symposium aims at allowing young researchers to share and discuss their results on topics related to glycochemistry, glycobiology and glycoimmunology. The meeting is organized in two plenary lectures, talks delivered mainly from early career investigators (ECIs) and a round table to discuss of research related problems and grant opportunities. Active participation to the round table with at least one question (see template below) is requested to promote integration and networking as reported in the MoU of the COST-action.

Prof. Ryan Flyn (http://www.rafrna.com/), Assistant Professor at the Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Dept. of Stem Cell and Regenerative biology, has already accepted to deliver the opening plenary lecture on the afternoon section, and he will give an overview on his outstanding findings about glyco-RNA and on his academic career.

Deadlines:

-Abstract submission and pre-registration: August 31, 2021

-Send the registration form and abstract (Template) to: innogly.eci.wg3@gmail.com

-Abstract acceptance will be notified by 10th of August.
